Economics Under God's Law

I finished The Cleansing of America and the chapter on economics was very interesting.

Under God's laws all money will be backed by precious metals. There will be federal and state banks which are backed by precious metals. All profits from the banks will be put into the general found to help cut down on taxes.

The justice system will be much simpler as there will not be so many regulations. During a trial it will be between the two arguing parties and the judge, there will be no lawyers. The judge will be responsible for gathering the facts and doing any investigating that needs to be accomplished.

Medical clinics will be in each ward or shared between two wards. Multiple wards will join together to support a hospital. The doctors will volunteer a certain amount of time to aid those that can't afford the care they need.

The adults of the ward will be responsible for setting up the curriculum for their ward's school.

Each ward/community will be limited in size which will eliminate the congestion we are use to in our cities.

Many of these ideas where supported by the founding fathers. If these ideals were followed the federal government would be much smaller and the tax burden would be lighter. To make this kind of society possible the people must have virtue and be willing to volunteer their time and talents. Following these ideals would eliminate the major issues we have today as each community is responsible for itself and doesn't look to the federal government to solve all the problems.
